This year we will start allocating CPD hours members and CS Professionals depending on your participation in different activities. These are engaging activities you that help you, as a CS Professional, develop and enhance your abilities, skills and proficiency in your organizations or your career. It may be learning something new, refreshing or recouping existing knowledge or simply up-skilling or re-skilling.
Why you need CPD hours
1. To get certified by the Institute.
2. When you want to become a CICM Fellow.
3. If you are a Certified Practitioner/ Manager/ Trainer, you need CPD hours to renew your certification.
NB: When you attend any CICM events, make sure to get and keep your certificate transcript or course outline.
How you can earn CPD hours?
You can accumulate CPD hours through:
Attending trainings/ Seminars
Joining webinars
Attending other CICM events
Volunteering services or contributing to CICM eg speaking during webinars, writing articles to be featured in the monthly newsletter.
